Midnight in Chernobyl was so good! Worth every minute I spent reading it. Books like this are why I no longer find books by the likes of Stephen King and others to be scary. The real world is actually scary, clowns in sewers not so much.
I would also argue the HBO mini series is every bit as good. They nail in tension and how it must have felt to be there.
