Financial Times op ed doomer: market forces inability to halt climate change

I really like this publication because their bias is plain to see but their writing is on point and well researched. Even the lizard people in the comments tend to be the kind that go, "yes this harmful thing is happening and caused by capitalism and I still want to keep the system in spite of this" rather than the kind that goes "there is no harm, and whatever there is is due to DEI/Jews/Participation Trophies." It is weirdly refreshing.
Exactly why I try to read news from publications like this and The Economist. They're right wing ghouls who are very explicit in their ghoulishness, and you can pinpoint the propaganda because they'll just tell you most of the time. Ultimately the people who read this kind of news, unlike say the NY Times, are mostly people plugged into the circuits of capital and power. You can't make money if you don't actually know what's going on.
