Tesla patents auto sanitization system for its robotaxi cars

Remember that scene in Silicon Valley when Gabe gets trapped in the self-driving car that drives him onto a cargo ship destined for China? That's an actual possibility now!

And it won't work. Taxis don't need to be disinfected every hour. They need a person to check them so no one leaves something sticky on the seat / floor that can't be seen by the camera.

Self-driving taxis are going to be as clean as the bus because people are going to break the rules. A camera is not good enough to actually see what is happening in the car.
