  • This episode's antagonist is the dumbest and most unrealistic. What's his exit strategy? Like, you go on a rampage in town - with your identity exposed - and you're pretty much at least going to jail. The only people who do so are the likes of mass shooters with a death wish and suicide bombers because they don't expect to live.

Also, Alina doesn't seem to learn. You'd think she would start wearing a mask after the last episode, but no. Plus, masks are so cool.

    Last thoughts: that phrasing😏

    • masks are so cool

Agreed. Really, this is keeping your identity secret 101 stuff.

  • If she were in Japan, I would say that Alina would be a prime candidate to die from overwork and be an isekai protagonist... @rikka@ani.social

However, there don't seem to be any trucks in her world to help along the process. Also, her boss now knows who she really is, so her work is likely to change quite a bit.

This show has been a lot of stupid fun so far, but the plot itself doesn't really hold up to any kind of scrutiny. I think that Rie Takahashi is really carrying this show for me. Her voice acting as Alina has been stellar. You can really hear the Megumin or Tomo-chan come out when she is internally yelling and calling somebody a piece of shit. Just great stuff. She has been my favorite part of this show with an honorable mention to the stunning visuals of the OP.

  • @rikka What a fun #anime, exactly what I need in these days. Surely, don't ask for too much logic and depth, but then I think it's a parody on the corporate rat race more than anything else.
