The SC overturned it, and they had the numbers to do so because Dems choose not to fight for Obama's last appointment for a year so it can be used as a stick to make voters vote for Hillary.
Like, if your spouse bets the house on on the Jacksonville Jaguars to win the next three Superbowls, the team that wins didn't take your house. Your spouse who made a bad bet lost your house.
If they had won the bet by some fluke, it doesn't make their decision to bet better, it just means that got lucky and has terrible risk assessment
