They've reverted the attempted license change and made it crystal clear that the entire project is under the AGPL now.

Yes you can fully self-host this but you still need to pay for it, although a lot less.
What's the price? They don't provide that info without proving more details...
Any company that doesn't list the price doesn't have the confidence in it's own product and would rather use a salesman to sell you first.

True story. If the company is a consulting company they'll sugar coat price omission as "we have to evaluate your needs in order to sell you the right product". :D

That's a great solution but totally overkill for my needs and I don't get what's their thing with having OnlyOffice Spreadsheets but not the rest. There's a blog article saying they've integrated it all but the official instance doesn't have Documents. For what's worth FileBrowser will be way simpler to setup and use than Cryptpad for most people once they merge the OnlyOffice integration. https://github.com/filebrowser/filebrowser/pull/1420
For now I'll stick with Joplin but the mobile App is a disaster.
