Wizards of the Coast says it didn't mean to send a DMCA takedown notice to the Baldur's Gate 3 Stardew mod: 'We are in the process of fixing that now'
I reached out to my friend who worked on the mod. It is gonna be revoked.

Update: In a statement sent to PC Gamer on Monday, Wizards of the Coast said that the DMCA takedown notice was issued in error: "The Baldur's Village DMCA takedown was issued mistakenly—we are sorry about that. We are in the process of fixing that now so fans and the Stardew community can continue to enjoy this great mod!"
Did they have A.I. or an overzealous lawyer pull the trigger?
There has been news of companies not dissimilar to WotC hiring other companies that use AI to find trademark/copyright infringement and file automated DMCA requests. Could be like that.
I hadnt seen that. They sent me a Swen Vincke tweet. Apparently he did alot to move things.
As of 4 hours ago they said they were still waiting on an update from Nexus.
