A tree fell on him, leaving him paralyzed. He sued & got a payout amount granted by the lawsuit settlement, totaling $8.9 million. He then championed legislation that limits lawsuits awards so a payout can’t exceed like $250,000, or so. I may be wrong on that figure but pretty much he said fuck you I got mine. He’s a piece of shit.
As of Monday, two people in Harris County died after Beryl caused trees to fall on their homes, authorities said.
