Well, there's a chance he will if trump won't get elected. Last time he was close to ending up in jail, but got pardoned by trump (BTW: US works with a wrong precedent that started with Nixon, the president should only be allowed to pardon only after there is a conviction, otherwise it allows for shenanigans of making others do crime for you, giving a blank pardons or even a possibility of pardoning yourself).

Every single election fraud conspirator will be pardoned by Trump along with every January 6th insurrectionist if he gets into office. He'll hold a big ceremony where he proudly announces he's "freeing the hostages."
