I'm glad Neuralink has developed such essential technology. I can't think of a better use of a brain implant than not sleeping and playing Civilization.

I can't criticize it because I use essential technology to do the same thing.

12 0 ReplyYou presumably have a homo sapiens back but you aren't a hunter-gatherer. I don't know about "more than it should." I don't know that I've yet to meet someone over 40 without at least occasional back pain.

I can't think of a better use of a brain implant than not sleeping and playing Civilization.
I can come up with a few:

Showing advertisement while the recipient is sleeping. Use a positive feedback loop in order to increase engagement.

Using it to fly bomb carrying drones

Create jobs that have only one requirement - having such an implant.
