The most modern country music I will listen to is Garth Brooks. Unless Country Song by Seether counts as country music.

Sturgill Simpson?
Blackberry Smoke?
Billy MF Strings?
Or do you like music about American flags, cheating pickup trucks, dead dogs, and terminally ill wives?
5 4 ReplyBy odd chance, I got turned onto Sturgill last month and I've had all the albums on repeat since. I had always liked the odd bluegrass or folk song, but never had a real in with country before this. Excited to check out the rest of this list!
Fingers crossed that one of these are still touring.

Sound and Fury isn't country but is probably my favorite album ever. There's also an anime of it.

Garth needs to tell the families where the bodies are buried, they need closure
