Pro tip: If you don't want to see topic $foo in your feed, don't subscribe to communities with that topic.
That doesn't work if you browse All feed.
Why would you do that and expect stuff not showing up you don't like?
I don't particularly care, I just block what I don't want to see, I was just pointing out that your simplification doesn't quite work.
It does work very well if you don't do something to sabotage it.
