I'm not going to blame the 3rd party voters. At least they voted.

  Yeah, non-voters are the dumbest of the dumb. Period.
  But if you voted 3rd party in a PRESIDENTIAL election, you're a goddamn idiot.
  
  It basically means they don’t understand the rules of the game. If they are willing to learn, cool, but many are not.
  
  No? My vote for President literally does not matter in California. I voted for Harris because Fuck Trump, but my vote doesn't mean shit in this state. I literally have more value voting 3rd party than I do for either major candidate because of how the Federal Election Funding requirements work for 3rd parties.

  It does. Because the popular vote matters. It sends a message. Before this election it could be said that since 1988 Republicans have only won the popular vote once. Just once. That tells us that the will of the people has been denied many times in the last 30 years.
  Now. This time. Felon rapist traitor Donald Trump won the popular vote. That sends a message. A really shitty message.
  It matters. Now we can't point at Trump and say he's in power against the will of the people. Because the majority voted for him. Because dumb assholes stayed home.

  Why? The election was won and lost in swing states, and voter turnout in swing states was roughly the same in 2024 and 2020.

  Sure thing, all progress that has been made in terms of rights in the US has happened without voting. Through demands and violence are rights won and maintained; not electoralism which has only cost us rights over time
  
  America is an imperialist... Hellhole... that funded the Nazis during World War II, Russia defeated the Nazis. We are leaving the era of neoliberalism. Both political parties are fascist right-wingers. I've been kind of obsessed with political sciences since I was a kid. I could go on forever and recommend books but people would just argue. I'm okay with that. I just don't have the energy anymore. I would really like to live outside of the Imperial Core in areas not being currently bombed by the empire. I fell for the whole Bernie and AOC thing for a little bit but now I completely see them as the sellouts that they are. Also, let's just say for aoc and bernie were in charge. It's not gonna change anything. Also during college, I knew Israel and Palestine were going to be an issue. But I never thought I would ever be able to express this to Americans now it is a issue dividing America. I see the same tricks of the Empire that I saw during the Afghan-Iraq war. It's actually terrifying once you are plugged in and you understand what's going on around you. I know people roll their eyes at America bad takes, but we are incredibly bad. So I guess at the end of the rant, once you really educate yourself on these matters, you do realize that the presidential election is actually pointless. The USA Foreign policy never really changes. People say focus on local change, but at the end of the day, it is the foreign policy that dictates how our lives will be locally. If you are a mathematical person and you can see the proportions, you really understand how of a dire situation we are all in. Also, Russia is a shithole that is also a capitalist country and China is also a capitalist country. Communism lost. The only thing we have left now is global capitalism. And history is repeating itself. Welcome to the new Dark Ages.
