Eatin’ on the roof

In Taiwan, at a hot pot place called Haideilao, if you eat solo, they put a oversize stuffed mascot across from you so you're not eating alone.
I think I might be more comfortable eating with a giant stuffed mascot as opposed to eating alone.
I think I might not.
Wow...I read back my comment and I noticed I somehow had a stroke and wrote it backwards lmao.
I meant I'd rather eat alone!!! Dunno wtf happened there!
I looked up what dingus means, and got this:
nouninformal•North American used to refer to something one cannot or does not wish to name specifically.
So it's like Voldemort... takes notes
More likely sleep deprivation. This place pulls for that. Not sleeping is my regretful jam.
You're not even gonna try this?
Lol, I think they ask you if you want to. You be surprised how many people actually take them up for it.
.......is there someone inside the stuffed mascot? Because otherwise wouldn't you still be eating alone?
Of course not, how could you miss the oversized stuffed mascot sitting across from him??
That's a thing on mainland China too. Apparently some of them think eating alone with a big stuffed animal in the middle of a restaurant is a thing of nightmares too.
