There was a time when I would've sympathized with and supported the Israelis.
But that was 40,000 murders ago.
Like, why the fuck are they still inviting their football teams to play?
And why the fuck are they in the Europa league? Last I checked Israel was nowhere near Europe. Aren't they Semitic and from the Middle East? At least they love to use that definition when they shout "antisemitism" at anyone who criticises them. And why are they in the European Song Contest? Anyway, no sympathy. The Eurovision has plenty of non-European members (Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Turkey).

Because it wouldn't be safe for the Israeli teams to play against teams from all the neighboring nations that rightfully despise the actions of their government.

On the one hand, innocent athletes and fans shouldn't be punished for the actions of the government.
