Republicans admit they plan to implement Project 2025

www.rollingstone.com Republicans Celebrate by Admitting They Can't Wait for Project 2025

Donald Trump's supporters celebrated their plans to implement Project 2025 after months claiming they had nothing to do with the former president.

Summary

Following Donald Trump’s election victory, Republicans are now openly embracing Project 2025, a policy agenda from The Heritage Foundation that outlines sweeping conservative reforms.

Despite Trump’s attempts to distance himself from the project during his campaign due to its extreme proposals—including expanded executive powers, a national abortion ban, stricter contraception limits, harsh immigration policies, and the elimination of agencies like the Department of Education—his allies quickly began celebrating its implementation.

Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon and commentator Matt Walsh publicly affirmed the agenda, signaling the GOP's commitment to enacting these controversial policies in Trump’s second term.

  • So now I’m not a libertarian if I would have liked to see chase Oliver as president but voted for Harris as a better counter vote to Trump? Do you have anything else better to do than troll people?

    • Oh no, I'm sure you're a libertarian.

I just don't buy the left-leaning part considering Oliver's platform.

      • Okay that’s your opinion then. Doesn’t mean I ageee with all of his policies. Shit, people literally voted for Trump because they say TRUMP=lower prices HARISS=Higher prices. And ignored everything else. I’m upset as well that Trump is back The White House. If anything Dems should be mad at Joe Biden for not deciding not to run for reelection before the primaries.

        • So your defense of being left-leaning is that people voted for politicians for stupider reasons than why you would have preferred Chase Oliver?

          • There’s two types of Libertarians. The right leaning RFK Libertarians and the left leaning Chase Oliver libertarians. I’m not using chase as a defense for being libertarian I just like his policies over RFK. It’s that simple. Are you done?

            • Nope. I'm not done. You didn't say you liked his policies over RFK, you said:

I would have voted for Chase Oliver if he had any chance to get close to the White House.

You would have voted for a person who would have gotten rid of the social safety net. So I have no idea what you could possibly be left-leaning about. Do you mean you like to smoke weed and think abortion should be legal? Because those are only considered "left-wing" in the U.S.
