You should look into just how restrictive Chinese Steam is. You should also look into how any online game operating in China (like PUBG) needs to be offered by a joint-venture with a Chinese firm.
@strongarm@DdCno1 Insulting China by virtue of China's government objectively being awful isn't the same as insulting Chinese people, that's completely not racist, if anything it's the opposite because you're raising awareness to the issues the people there are facing. China deserves to be insulted, it's fucking trash beaten out only by North Korea and maybe Russia, and the people living there deserve better.
The CCP killed more Chinese than Genghis Khan, they're an occupying force, we pushed the Japanese out only to leave them to be conquered by someone almost as bad.
The exact number of executions carried out in China is not publicly disclosed, as the country treats execution data as a state secret. However, human rights organizations estimate that China executes more people annually than the rest of the world combined.
According to estimates by organizations like Amnesty International, the number of executions in China is believed to be in the thousands each year, but precise figures are difficult to verify.
At least they get a trial... In the US "officer involved deaths" are the preferred method of state execution.
The best estimates I'm seeing are from https://worldcoalition.org/pays/china/. They are almost certainly inflated, but the last official count was back in 2009 by amnesty international which counted 1718 instances. (Compared to world coalition's estimate of 8000 for the same year.) that puts the per capita death rate at ~1-3 per million. Police/extrajudicial killings in China are almost unheard of.
