They are opposed to the war though. They’re notorious for opposing the entire state of israel
I'm a little confused, how would that mindset make sense if they're saying they would rather die than enlist?
Because the "rather die" is an exaggeration people use to mean they really really do not want to do something
Example: "I'd rather die than eat British food."
It could be meant literally and in earnest, but I doubt it
in the article they're apparently using "we will die and not enlist" as a protest chant which feels far more specific than that
