The photo was taken by an AP reporter. That's about as credible a source as you're going to get.
Not mirrored, the hair pomp folds over to his right, opposite of his left part.
Damn nice forensics. I was about to suggest it might be mirrored as some phones do that automatically. I wonder what they're gonna say now and if he's gonna go back to wearing that bandage.
