Here I was shit talking, and my boss just called me and asked me to come in. Yes, I work in desktop support. Yes, I'm getting overtime for this. No, I am not happy!
The trick is to always be unavailable on your days off and never answer your phone. Unless you want the overtime, of course.
I needed the OT unfortunately.But not like this...
also if you mistakenly answer the phone, switching to airplane mode drops the call
oops you were traveling
That's the thing though. I work in the public sector. I can play truant but they rarely give out OT.
