People are sharing a video allegedly depicting the "Ghost of Kyiv" taking down a Russian fighter. Except the video was made in a game, Digital Combat Simulator, lmao. I'll be honest, I was convinced at first, it looks super realistic.

  On twitter, they're just sharing the raw video without the Youtube description, calling him a gigachad haha. When they're told that it's from a game, they straight up don't believe that and call them bots.
  If you look closely, you can see that the planes stutter a little as they fly across the screen, and the "Ghost" glitches out of view towards the end.

  So far, there has been no confirmation that the Ghost of Kyiv truly exists. What we do know is that the Ukrainian defence forces have said seven Russian aircraft have been downed during Thursday's conflict. Whether six of these were one by pilot of Kyiv seems unlikely given that the fighting has taken place over a number of battle zones across the country.
  It's straight up manufactured propaganda, and it's spreading like wildfire.

  So far, there has been no confirmation that this thing I made up truly exists.
  
  I just assumed those aircraft were downed by the manpads the west supplied Ukraine with.
  
  There are so many people talking about this guy, and he almost certainly doesn't exist. Mainstream media outlets are reporting on it , with statements such as, "Even if he isn't real, it gives the Ukrainian's something to believe in and hope for." Like, don't report on shit unless you've confirmed it, wtf?
- They wouldn't be flying that low, or slow, and if they were that low the sound would be deafening. Jets are fucking loud.
- lmao i like how the Ghost somehow is like 500m higher than the other jet when it fires that rocket despite entering the turn on a downward angle & the other jet climbing
  gonna try this in warthunder & see how many Gs such a turn & rapid climb would even take lol
