  • Would it be problematic to flip the tables on chuds and refer to people as "women and males"?

Recently considered beginning to do this to see reactions but couldn't decide how I felt about it.

    • What's the context where that would piss off chuds? Don't they already commonly use language like that? Personally I'm always very cautious of anyone who uses the words "male" or "female" outside of a medical context

      • Just thought if someone said "men and females" to me that I'd casually switch it. I don't think they ever really say "males", much less "women and males". I think they'd notice, but curious to see if they would get pissed off.

        • if someone said "men and females"

          eww

does that happen a lot? "Women and males" does make sense as a response in that scenario tho

          • As a cishet guy, I get it alllll the time. It drives me crazy.

If I'm not at a place like work or with friends, I can usually say something without worrying. But in situations like work it would I think work well to casually flip it and play dumb if they notice or say something. That being said, my workplace is generally very progressive so I don't think I'll get pushback because then their reactionary thinking will have to be explained explicitly but I don't want to start issues either by directly calling them out. Might also work great if some males say something to me at a bar or something.

    • That seems innocuous, anarcho
