A 2016 surveillance video captures Sean “Diddy” Combs engaging in physical altercation with his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, substantiating allegations from a recently settled federal lawsuit filed by Ventura in November.
The video, compiled from various camera angles on March 5, 2016, appears to show the rapper and producer at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, involved in an incident described in Ventura’s complaint.
In the footage, Ventura exits a hotel room and heads towards the elevators. Combs, holding a towel around his waist, runs after her, grabs her by the neck, and throws her to the floor. While keeping his towel closed, he then kicks her. As Ventura remains on the ground, Combs retrieves a purse and suitcase near the elevators and kicks her again. He then drags Ventura briefly by her sweatshirt before walking away.
