How FTTH is installed by Proximus - Belgium 🇧🇪
Hi,
On the Proximus website we can see the following install picture

\ btw what a mess !Obviously I didn't see on their website which kind of fiber is entering in the building (1)
What are the number 2 and 3 ?
\ I suppose the number 3 convert the Fiber signal to another type ? SMF to MMF ?The 5 is obviously a Fiber Media converter
"Fun fact" it is write on the number 5:
- Cet appareil fait partie de ce batiement. Veulliez ne pas le debrancher ou le deplacer.
- This device is part of this building. Please do not unplug or move it.
Do you know if a Router/modem is required after the point 5 ? If yes which protocol it use to the ISP ? PPP ?
