  • I went through all the endings in under two hours and spent the rest of the afternoon in intense terror about the idea of eternal life and the possibility of eternal suffering..

Probably not what the author intended, but I'm not playing it again.

  • European here.

This comment takes assumption that by "US falling to fascism" you meant Trump taking control of the USA. Please ignore everything if I misunderstood.

Trump's among the few US presidents that didn't start a new war. Source: https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN2A22QR/

He also scaled down wars in Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq. I AM NOT SAYING THOSE ACTIONS WERE GOOD OR BAD FOR THE USA, or for the rest of the world for that matter. And I'm really not qualified to discuss that.

This comment is ONLY a direct reply to a concern that Trump's rule should have Europe worried in the sense that he'll nuke us.

Maybe someone else nukes us as a consequence of his inaction, idk. But Trump nuking Europe is what you said, and I disagree.

  • I'm just saying, it's the individuals. I'd be worried if most people in that gathering were displaying controversial stuff. They're not tho.

Should one individual be able to discredit the whole group?

If yes, all the opposing party would need to do to defeat the gathering is send one man carrying a flag with horrible implications to the gathering.

From that hypothetical example, it's obvious (for me) that an individual shout not be able to discredit the whole group.

  • That's a well written, logical statement that I can agree with. The comment I replied to originally contained definitive statements that stated the ONLY thing NATO did was worsen a specific situation. When I objected to that radical simplification, many words, even speeches and foreign identities (a mod called me "van der Leyem") were stapled on me/put into my mouth and completely discarded my comment. And the comment is as true as the truth gets, in the terms of, it actually happened hahaha. That way of discussion, communication and treatment of people can not possibly yield any useful information, conclusions or anything good.

  • I'm inclined to agree with you. I just added the other side of the coin to your comment, which portrayed a filtered, single-sided story. However, the mods don't seem to like it.

Could I get a message from the mods as for the reason of removal?

  • I'm guessing they have a blacklist of known VPN servers and block you from accessing them. One of the options is running a VPN server at your home outside of China.

    1. Ask your ISP to be excluded from their NAT and to give you a public IP address
    2. Use a DDNS service if your public IP changes regularly, so you have a domain name which always points to your current IP
    3. Install Wireguard VPN on your computer (or if you have a fancy router like Mikrotik run it on the router)
    4. Port forward a port to that computer/server
    5. Install Wireguard app on Android and connect. If done well, your data will be sent encrypted to your home, and you access the Internet from there.
