We still haven't figured out how to make solar panels that produce more energy in their lifespan than what it take to build them.

This seems like greenwashing... We won't solve the climate crisis by generating more energy if we don't stop using fossile fuel...

Pour vrai, on n'aurait même pas besoin de taxer le vin et les TV. Même pas besoin de taxer les riches. Suffit de taxer les ultra-riches et c'est déjà bien suffisant!

L'arrondissent de Rosemont a commencé à ajuster le prix des vignettes de stationnement selon le poids du véhicule. Un pas dans la bonne direction! 😄

Le bruit n'est vraiment pas un problème si on y fait attention. Ce qui fait le plus de bruit dans une ville c'est les autos! Moins d'autos = moins de bruit! (Et pour le bruit des voisins, si c'est bien construit c'est pas un problème.)

It doesn't work. I entered my infos for both Lemmy and Mastodon, but when I select either Redirect buttons in the menu, nothing happens. (no error messages or anything) Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I heard that Google is about to drop support of their older chromecasts. (You might want to look into this to confirm though)

Even better is to talk about phone carriers, because people seem to know those better than emails these days. "Just because your phone is using Carrier A doesn't mean you can't call your friends on Carriers B and C"

Have you considered using Yunohost instead? I think it would let you skip a few steps?

What need to change? Real steps toward reducing greenhouse gas. Stop subsidizing cars (even electric ones!) and invest all that money into public transport. That would be a good first step. Then maybe I'll be proud to be Canadian.

We have to be careful if we want to keep it this way though! 😄

I'm surprised that Not Just Bikes isn't on that list. Though, as the name imply, it talks about urban planning and bicycle lanes in general
