  • Yea, but that's one of the best songs in genre, I posted one of the worst... Coincidentally the opener on this Bloodhound Gang album is called 'I hope you die' (as is the verse in the Goats song) and is a fun (still shitty) song on a otherwise unfun(ny) crap album.

  • oh, I have those (most of the time).. it's just the ceremony that I don't want to go through...

  • from Wikipedia: "Hayter will retire the Lingua Ignota project in 2023, citing the unhealthiness of reliving her trauma through her performances."

It was only a question what she'll do next, and I like it so far...

  • But you did choose those leaders, by accepting the two party system and always voting for the lesser evil. The phenomenon of โ€˜the lesser evilโ€™ isnโ€™t born out of necessity, it is manufactured, so the people who have money can earn even more wealth and power every 4 years by giving you their option for leadership.

I like the idea of the guillotine, but those blades have never been sharpened in the USโ€ฆ you always liked your less evil leaders.

  • The Cranberries - Linger

This summer my mother decided for us to go from Germany via Italy to Greece by car and ferry with a lot of stops on the way. She bought a CD player with 10 CD slots for the car. This album was one of those 10 on rotation for almost a week. Dolores' voice is for me synonymous with summer since then.

  • Sorry.

Go face those demons and kick them back into the void from which they came... after a while you'll remember those bad times as just a struggle you had to overcome...

  • Got reminded of this album while watching Nimona. And btw, if you haven't seen Nimona... GO! WATCH NIMONA!

  • Oh.. that's strange. I changed my country in youtube to Russia, because of the sanctions they don't have any ads even without adblocker... might have something to do with that.

  • idk. It feels like it's a product of its time. Maybe a critique on how everything is being sexualized in media... idk

  • This music will always bring me back to the time I used to deliver packages from one shelter to the other across Iceland. Not once did the BTs managed to get meโ€ฆ

  • An open and honest government wouldn't have a need to classify documents... an open and honest government wouldn't wait 50 years to declassify those same documents. Nothing open or honest about this government either way... These documents are written by the perpetrators anyway...

  • What's the point? Those responsible politicians and their mass murdering buddies are either dead or way above the law. The public which could and should learn something from this are currently too busy masturbating to war footage and news from Ukraine.

We all already know what the US did in Latin America (and still does)... no need to read something War Criminals and Human Rights Violators didn't want you to read for 50 years... shove those documents up your ass CIA.

  • Just finished 'The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet' by Becky Chambers - quite fun space opera (if you like Firefly etc.), I'll definitely pick up the rest of the series at one point.

Started reading 'They Never Learn' by Layne Fargo - Starts interesting, I feel I'll finish this one.

After that I will definitely start reading 'All Systems Red' by Martha Wells - I've been hearing about 'Murderbot Diaries' and how good they are for years now...

I like reading scifi most, but always try to squeeze some other genre in between.

  • sad sounding music that makes me happy... love Morphine.

  • But! If your name is Henry Rollins, naming your band 'Rollins Band' is quite disposable.

I like Franti more as an angry teacher in Disposable Heroes, but I understand you can't be angry your whole life...

  • I saw a clip few years ago, where this song was premiered on '120 Minutes' with Henry Rollins as host. He was making fun of the bands name, but thought the song was great... I kinda agree.
