  • I think that's on purpose - it lets you change where your media is playing but keeps Teams set to the headset. The idea is that if you're listening to something on a speaker and a call comes in, you want to be able to answer without scrambling to change the device first. Especially if you're already having to take time to pause your media first.

  • I've always heard that resin printing is best for miniatures, but if you're happy with the 0.2 nozzle, I'd stick with PLA. CookieCAD and ProtoPasta both have fun colors. If you really want to branch out, ASA with acetone vapor smoothing could be something to try.

  • Most things people self host are either torrent clients, HTTP(s) or are game servers. The first one can pick a port arbitrarily. The second can do host routing. The third - some of them support SRV records so you can direct the client to an arbitrary port. It's becoming less common to need multiple public IPv4 addresses.
