I'm 51 and spent a lot of time in hospitals as a very young child. Even back then, before scrubs, nurses uniforms were like "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" rather than "Debbie Does General Hospital".
The number of examples of media becoming unreachable to paying consumers keeps growing.
Warner Brothers (Max) is the greatest example of this. Years of content from Cartoon Network just disappeared, leaving the consumer no legal avenue to enjoy some of their favorite shows.

It sounds like one of the biggest mistakes was that he had enough stages for at least two games. He should have released earlier, then released the later stages as DLC (free or paid) or as a sequel.
But yeah game devs, and most artists TBH, need to have a strong social media presence as well as the ability to stream the process. Some people like to watch others create.

They are all problematic. My disagreement with the removal of TikTok is that it should not stop with TikTok. Meta's apps are an absolute nightmare. Google, Xitter, Amazon, etc., they all need to be curbed when it comes to data collection.
Data brokering needs to be made illegal or VERY tightly regulated.

Destiny historically vasscilated between "fucking amazing" and "dumpster fire". The problem has always been that it is near impossible to maintain that level of quality and entertainment consistently while also innovating on a regular basis. It is very difficult and very expensive.
