The CEO was very careful to skirt applicable regulatory laws. He even called his passengers "crew members". In the aviation world, I have some experience harmonizing multiple regulatory authorities. Because of "international waters", there will need to be some agreement and harmonizing of regulations. There's already SOLAS so, I think it can be done.
In the aviation world, an experimental aircraft may not be used for "compensation or hire". The only exception is that a kitplane manufacturer is allowed to give demo flights.
As I move between the two options, I think I kind of prefer the "simplicity" of the Lemmy interface as well. I wonder if I should throw my hat in the ring and create a server myself?
I suspect I will eventually go to just one account. If this "Memmy" app essentially connects the two, that could be a good solution. Do you use your same account for both? I created separate. Here I am on Lemmy https://sh.itjust.works/u/JKMooney
Wound up creating a Lemmy account as well as this one. Still getting accustomed to it but it appears that, instead of relying solely on the mods to manage content, more control is given to the end user. As long as I can easily block trolls and other content I don't care for, I'm good.

On the other hand, where FB is concerned, you just can't make it go away. I'm stuck with that account because of events and messages but looking for work-arounds for both.
On FB, I generally only post to "Friends" or "Close Friends". Yet, I keep getting these "Suggested for You" posts in my feed. Some are advertisers, many are clearly from bot-farms trying to start arguments. I mean, the Fediverse may have it's bad actors, but not on the coordinated scale that Facebook has.
