  • @evan@cosocial.ca @AngelicAura@pol.social @Flipboard@flipboard.social @mallory@techpolicy.social @tomcoates@me.dm Facebook & Automattic, both companies well known for doing exactly that, which have excitedly done exactly that when getting their hands on something before, are part of SWF. Even if that is not SWF's intentions, Facebook or Automattic are likely to abuse their position to make it happen. I've heard concerns about IFTAS too, but I don't know enough about them to tell, so I'll trust people that know more about them than me.

  • @crashdoom I'm not optimistic about the situation after seeing their repeated use of transphobic slurs & threats against transgender people, but I hope that tenforward.social users find out about their admin's behavior & are able to move before everything collapses. :(

  • @9tr6gyp3 I'm not responding to argue with you, I'm responding because these are things I've seen people be serious about, even though it's clear you're not. I think I've covered everything so I'm done. This was never to give you any attention, I don't like trolls because they're annoying, & your account looks like a bizarre mix of trolling & genuine interaction to me, like one of those Reddit kids you see screenshots of in quityourbullshit that doesn't know other people can see their post history.

  • @9tr6gyp3 Anonymous data is a myth & I also see zero ads. Adblock blocks ads from loading, or even being requested in the first place.

  • @9tr6gyp3 @Lokjo I realize this is a troll account, but I still think this is something that needs to be said because this is an argument I've seen people genuinely believe.

  • @9tr6gyp3 @Lokjo Ok and? You're going to die regardless of how many "life extending" snake oils you rub on your skin & no matter how healthy you are. Should you just rot away now or should you keep living? I think I should continue blocking ads & tracking, I benefit from blocking them by using less bandwidth & loading pages in a quarter of the time.

  • @thethird I couldn't find anything about Motorola Solutions specifically except that they make police equipment. This isn't the same as the other companies named Motorola, it's a different company.

  • @ackshewally There's also D4:2D:C5 for i-PRO & a bunch for Motorola Solutions Inc. (different child company from Motorola, seems to make police hardware). Does anyone know any more OUIs? There are a few other Bluetooth police hardware manufacturers I've found that don't seem to have OUIs.

Also, does using an asterisk like that work? I've been using a regex for it & I would like to turn it into that to make it more readable.

I wish there was something better than BLE Radar for this that could search for things other than just MAC addresses & preset manufacturers.
