Every day the call of the high seas gets stronger.

I think a surefire way to help with this would be to have a rule that any instance that becomes the largest one on Lemmy should lock itself instantly. That way, we'll only surpass the current max number of users on a single instance until it's completely spread out

I love this! Wish more movies did those classic style posters.

I've not been that active in !fakealbumcovers@lemm.ee or !haiku@lemm.ee the past week, but I think I've built enough of an initial set of posts that I can post biweekly ish and maybe eventually try evangelizing on the respective subreddits

The nice pleasant colours juxtaposed with the death imagery and the font is a trippy vibe, and I'm here for it.

Nomadic identity is so cool! That's the one big thing ATProto has over ActivityHub atm (at least partially0, and hopefully platforms like Piefed will also follow suit on implementing it.

Sort of a reversal of last time, !haiku@lemm.ee has more or less stayed constant at 78 subscribers, while !fakealbumcovers@lemm.ee is only 3 away from 100, and has had a few posts from other people so far. Did try to reach out to the albumartporn community mod, but didn't get a reply yet.

Still happy with the overall progress, though.

No peaceful end of term, maybe. They might have to find out January 6th doesn't just come once, and it doesn't always have to be at the Capitol.

Most British shows, so Peep Show, Fleabag, etc. There's even Episodes, which makes fun of this all in a very meta story about a British show being adapted to American audiences and requiring only hot people for the new version.

I genuinely remember being halfway into the movie and wondering where Colin Farrell was (I knew he was in the cast, but not which role), and it was only the credits that made me actually consider it could be him as the penguin.
