  • Playing hardcore you need to set other goals than get this first character to 100. For me, more than anything, its about learning your limits at every stage of the game. Actually learning, getting better. Losing one character doesn't end that. And. Nothing beats the blood pumping because you are in a sticky situation knowing there are consequences. It's a thrill.

That said, I play both SC and HC. Mostly SC because I play late when I'm tired. So my HC progression is slow. Very slow. But I enjoy it a lot next to my SC main. No need to go all in. Think Ive died four times in hc before season 1. My biggest achievement so far is lvl 30 which is only a few hours of progression without death :)

  • As a Manchester United supporter I somehow know of a football reference for what you wrote. It starts with the Gla and ends with the zers.

But I have much higher hopes for this and actually feel Microsoft are cleansing and perhaps even saving a sinking ship more than becoming an even more bigger and evil corporate.

  • Spot on. That's probably why. But I suppose you would find another cause. Like become a corpse-farmer, take care of your house, find someone you love and start a family. You know. Graveyard Keeper stuff.

  • I've also started to get this issue. Needs to be resolved somehow. I understand it's not something doe Voyager devs to solve but this is a perfect example of a bug that will deter people from switching over from the dark side..

Aaaand I can't reply to this post either because of the same issue. Languages are chosen, btw. Had to reply through normal lemmy.world. Could edit post in Voyager tho!

  • And! Enable wlan and get an app on your phone to power on the decent computer with. Get game streaming working. And now you play the demanding titles on the Deck through your computer in handheld with good graphics and enormous battery life. Also get something like parsec to be able to log on and power off the computer. Never need to sit Infront of it ever again? That's my life :)
