Republicans know. This is not their first rodeo. What do you think is going to happen after a bunch of Democrats somehow get voted in?

Yesterday, when a reporter asked Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt about the megabill’s proposed tax on wind and solar energy, she appeared totally unfamiliar with the measure and punted the question. (The tax provision was later removed.)

Jan 6th was not a boundary push.

Yep. We had a solid 4 years for USA to figure some shit. Global pandemic to nail it home too. We didn't.

Republicans have been at this for decades. First round of Trump should have been enough. It wasn't. Now Republicans have full control.

You can only warn people for so many years. We are past that point. Everyone that refused to listen are now going to get what their wilful ignorance wanted.

Because there's a schedule for Project 2025. Clock's ticking. They have to get a lot done before the next Presidential election.

Once you win at life and have enough money to fuck off to a beach somewhere most people do. Some people can't. Because they still want your money.

How are they so short-sighted?

They are old. They have zero empathy. They are addicted to money.

They are not short sighted. They just don't care who's at the bottom after they pull the ladder up.

The only thing they worry about is being in prison with no money. Which is why it very rarely ever happens.

TLDR : China made clean energy possible. USA made it expensive and illegal. This is the most important thing going on for the next 100 odd years. Don't get distracted.

Trump will be fine.

Yup. Most things go bad if not fixed and out of control. Moderation is key. The problem is the people in charge don't want a good system. They want a system they can control.

They will do anything but a fair system because then they would lose control.

The problem isn't AI robots or UBI. The problem is UBI most likely will not happen in time.

China fixed climate change. USA put tariffs on it and made Chinese EVs illegal.

And China has been at this for years. Nuclear power too. Australia has also found out how much sunshine costs.
