Americans don't care about our politics anywhere near as much as you do.

Maybe that's the problem. Gotta say, as a Canadian, it really pisses me off to hear an American say this right now with everything that's going on.

Surely you've gotta know what's happening in the States right now is affecting everyone in the world.

In line with what you're saying, I've been thinking that as fixated as we all are on Trump right now (and naturally so), whoever comes after him might be even worse.

I've said for years that the trouble in the Middle East was eventually going to come here, and here we are (and it's just getting started). There are just certain immutable laws that are above man-made laws: One is that destruction always follows after pride, another is that we all reap what we sow. (Canadian here)

Not yet, but it seems to be growing.

Seems to be a lot of giant egos running the show right now, and I'd think they'll eventually clash with each other. Wonder what that'll look like and how it's going to affect his nightmarish direction we're all headed in.

I really hope you're wrong, but think you're probably right... that we're going to keep seeing more of this.

I get what you're saying... it's overwhelming for us, and we're in Canada... can't imagine what it's like for those of you who are right there and can see/understand what's going on. The seeming lack of concern from some Americans makes perfect sense when you explain it that way. Thanks!

Why do you think it happened?

Looked at the article... it's really discouraging the way some Americans support and seem to love this guy. With everything he's doing, do you think he's setting the country up for another major terrorist attack?

The guy's definitely not winning any popularity contests.

I haven't celebrated xmas for several years now and it's seriously been so liberating.

Has there ever been another U.S. President who's spent this much time fighting the courts?
