Der Text zeigt einige wichtige Punkte auf, aber wäre so viel besser, wenn er vor dem Putsch geschrieben wäre. So entsteht der Eindruck, als würden sich die Putschisten auch nur einen deut um anti-imperialistische oder irgendwie afrikanisch-basisdemokratische Belange scheren, statt um den eigenen Machterhalt. Wie man es ja am Anführer der Putschisten, dem Chef der Präsidentengarde, der mutmaßlich ersetzt werden sollte, sehen kann.

Und der Kommentar zum Ukraine-Krieg ist natürlich auch Quatsch. Sonneborn halt.

It's "Nigerien", and given that this decision was made by a unelected coup leader, I'd doubt you'd have much say in the matter as a Nigerien.

Genau das gleiche Phänomen konnte man auf Mastodon beobachten. Ich bin da seit 2018.

Die Migration geschieht in mehreren Pulsen, meistens ausgelöst durch Aktionen der zentralisierten Plattform.

Zwischendurch wird's etwas stiller. Nach den ersten Wellen auf Mastodon wurde es zumindest für mich sogar so still, dass ich es nicht mehr nutzte. Ich glaube diesen Punkt hat Lemmy schon überschritten, zumindest in einigen communities.

Vielleicht kommt die nächste Welle in 2 Monaten, vielleicht in einem Jahr.

Könntest du das Mal anhand einer durchschnittlichen Woche von dir konkretisieren? Gerade wenn du normalerweise nicht aufs die Preise achtest.

I mean, this is a light-hearted meme, no offense to the people actually fixing things.

But at a company like GitHub the first status update should be and probably is created semi-automatic (just approved by a human). Afterwards they should follow a process to assign an incident communication lead, who takes over all communication so that the rest of the team can work on fixing the incident.

@GitHub: Hire me for more incident response tips from the backseat! :P

I'm actually not that into actual self-hosting (it feels too close to my day job). But i love the idea of it, and actually do host my own RSS Reader: It's selfoss (PHP + SQLite, so, very simple) and i have been using ever since google reader shut down. It runs on my uberspace.de instance.
