Nope. The idiots who voted for him only see the name Trump. They don't pay attention to history. They heed no warnings based on evidence. They only care about what they want and forget what hurt them - unless it was done by an enemy.

This is also in 1970s USSR, so there is a non-zero chance someone pulled up while smoking. Embers and ambient gas fumes are probably why this gas station is no longer around.

Government doesn't control land value. No government body says "New York has to be expensive!" or "Texas needs to be cheap as shit!"

The real estate market is based on what people will pay. It's mind blowing people think that there is a government department that no one has ever heard of making decisions everyone would be talking about. This is capitalism.

Just because they have money from a private partner doesn't mean it's valid or built on actual science. Steven Jones was working catalytic hydrogenation that were formed around a real idea for cold fusion but was beaten to the punch by Pons and Fleischman. In the end, none of what those people had was real science or technology and yet had millions of dollars poured into it from real companies.
