The study found that the optical properties of the studied anti-reflective coating on solar panel glass did not deteriorate as a result of chemical cleaning—except when dishwashing detergent was used.
It is unlikely that dishwashing detergent damages the glass. However, rinsing does not seem to be sufficient, as the transmittance of the solar panel glass cleaned with detergent did not return to the pre-cleaning level after the rinsing.
"Even though the glass looks clean when cleaned with detergent, its ability to transmit light is significantly impaired. Therefore, a clean-looking end result does not guarantee optimal performance," says Research Assistant Julianna Varjopuro.
TL;DR - dish cleaner removes the anti-reflective coating but glass cleaner does not. And once lost, it does not come back.
Activision has prevented Game Pass from being seen as "not worth it" by many. It is helping Microsoft retain value.
California should withhold what it annually gives to the federal government until conditions are met.
I've started calling folks taking X-rays the bone paparazzi.
"Mac and Me" propaganda works!
Dubya lied about everything. Mission Accomplished? Nope. Economy is doing great? Not under him. Dick Cheney was just vice president? Nope.
Tech bros' lack of empathy means he literally can't imagine anyone liking something he doesn't.
Can't wait to see an indie film about a small town Nebraska story shot in sepia because it's south of the border.
The region experienced high winds seasonally prior to climate change. Look at a topographical map of the southern California region - the deserts get hot and the high pressure pushes through the mountains (the San Gabriel range is one of the only east-west mountain ranges in the world), passing through the wide open savannah of the southern coast. The current wind conditions are a normal part of the winter cycle in SoCal.
Focusing on the conditions doesn't put energy and resources isn't a good use. It really is a matter of finding what caused it and stopping that. There are no fire spreading birds out in CA (or this would be a known and common source of the annual fires). Each time the fires are burning, they are because of something a human did, like driving with metal scraping the road and creating sparks. Or power lines that hang over mountains getting knocked down by the predictable winds. Or gender reveal parties and other idiots who spread fire to celebrate. Or casually flicking a cigarette out of a car window. It's always people.
That could be why Musk moved Tesla HQ to the home of "Stand your ground" laws. Pre-emptive mass murder is a form of riot prevention!
The California fires have spooked the rich after seeing so many mansions burning from near hurricane force winds pushing fire like it was flood waters. Nothing will be saved. We will soon own nothing and be happy.
The actual Manos robes with hands (or feet from the host segments) would be a day one buy for me. It would be my cold weather, walk around the house serape.
The cure is one of the jokers. Just keep playing Balatro, you're close to finding a way to quit.
Elon got a ton of money from the Saudis to buy Xitter. Wouldn't surprise me to learn they were pushing the authoritarian centric content.

My new favorite game is asking people where Ohio is on a map. Everyone has seemingly heard of Ohio but it's like a myth, some land unmarked on all maps.
For instant fun, just add skateboard!
Well, a wizard is only delayed by another wizard. The other wizard wanted this wizard to arrive late, which is when a wizard wanted the arrival, so yeah, it checks out.
