I use ABP so that we can skip the less interesting +X stuff.
One of my players is very into crafting, and they work as a group to be able to afford things, so one of the best treasures I can give are uncommon or rare items, or even just the formulas.
I tend to focus more on fun than utility items, though this varies. And I like to give out thematic stuff. Recently they fought a Skuln, which is described as having adamant claws and teeth. But it has no listed treasure, so I gave them adamantium chunks as treasure from scavenging the body.
Not breaking at all. Heck, alchemists get to use crafting, and a class feat can be used to make Nature the skill check. You should probably look at Herbalist archetype for wording.
I completely ignore the activation action for magic ammunition. You are already spending an action to fire it, and burning money before finding out if it hits, and then there is usually a save after that.
I've recently discovered a similar program called Guilded, which seems to have all the same important creatures of discord, but better organized (and a larger file share limit). We have not moved over, but I've been spinning up and organizing a server there, just in case Discord craps the bed like Reddit did.
