  • every time games let you do things like this for "quality of life" it's basically dead to me, at that point why the fuck are you even playing the game? hey all of this running around on the football field is annoying, let's just roll a dice to decide who scores a goal

  • there really should be 2, though. a proper impact-absorbing guardrail between the road and the sidewalk, and a normal railing on the edge of the sidewalk.

  • honestly i struggle to even call it fantasy, to me it just feels like a normal-ass movie with whatever justifications they needed to make things happen

    like how back to the future isn't scifi or fantasy either, it's just a movie about going back in time and how they do that is entirely arbitrary and exists only to justify time travel and to be cool.

  • unfortunately the same effect isn't achieved when people just take the headset off and go to bed in their own home

  • the problem is that you still need a driver, so frequency is going to be limited, which makes the service barely usable. Lack of places for vehicles to pass also limits possible frequency on these rural lines.

    the idea behind monocab is that you can just throw more vehicles at the problem, so people can either just order a cab or you can have them constantly circulating like a very strange merry-go-round.

    Railbuses are still good, but they made a lot more sense in the past. These days people have very very little tolerance for waiting.
