  • Trump on Bolton: "A total & unhinged WARMONGER, the red faced 'boiler ready to explode' was one of those very stupid voices that got us into the Middle East quicksand, Seven Trillion Dollars, & Millions of deaths later, NOTHING!" the former president went on.

  • Yes, in reference to the college textbooks on my bookshelf. Inference that we both value education, not sure that valuing education indicates membership in the PMC, seems to be counterproductive to make that connection.

  • It doesn't surprise me, there was a time when Nazis and the Soviet Union were a legitimate existential threat and the US had to act like they were decent, those days are unfortunately, long passed.

  • Personally for me, I feel like making the work day norm 6 hours a day, 30 hours a week, would solve a lot of my bedtime stress issues. The modern world demands too much of our time to get it all done, the 8 hour work day was built around a different world of nearly 100 years ago.

  • Once again, the most evil nation to have ever existed reverses course and instead of making space peaceful, decides to militarize it, breaking the U.N. treaty they had previously signed which called for not weaponizing space.

  • I bought an amaztech stratos fitness watch, worth every penny if you use it for running. Tracks your run distance/time via gps, streams music via bluetooth and doesn't require a phone, heartbeat monitor, etc. But otherwise I agree, quartz timekeeping is the way to go.

  • Expensive Cars. If you have to have one, buy a cheap one. One of the worst lifetime financial decisions you can make is spending money on cars, all of them get you to A to B. A used Prius is just about the most economical car you can buy for total cost per mile travelled. It would be nice if more cities had good public transportation systems, but unfortunately most don't. I love long island, getting around on public transportation is so convenient.

Edit: Something like this example prius is the way to go if you are trying to maximize your dollar. Drive it until the wheels fall off:
