But You don’t know what it was trained on, so you can’t say that with any certainty. If it was, why would it make a degraded copy? If it was trained on the real thing, shouldn’t it replicate the real thing perfectly?

Illegal immigrant gang members? What?
Which positions that Trump takes are a "clear, real, immediate existential threat to entire groups of people, simply because they exist"?
Was it? I've never heard that. What are you basing that on?
I can use whatever I want, but thanks :)
What does "architecture" mean in this scenario?
Missing context, which I'm sure was an honest mistake:
All universities must comply with Department of Homeland Security requirements, including reporting requirements under the Studen and Exchange Visitor Program regulations ... As a result of your refusal to comply with multiple requests to provide the Department of Homeland Security pertinent information ...
They failed to comply when requested. They were then given a second chance to comply, a second chance that they're not legally entitled to, and again they "provided an insufficient response".
They've been given 72 hours to provide the requested information.
There are plenty of apps on the App store that let you listen to your own MP3s on your iPhone though. They haven't made anything hard.
You can though? Developers can make apps and test them on their own devices, including iPhones.
Cool, but things like Plexamp already exist and have an official iOS app.
Echo chambers aren’t good sure, just look at the .ml instances, but allowing “free speech” and bigotry isn’t good as well.
The problem with this is that sites like Reddit, Lemmy, old Twitter, and old (and possibly current) facebook, is that anything that goes against the echo chamber is called "bigotry" or any of the "phobic"'s and is censored, further cementing the echo chamber.
We are talking about positions that pose a clear, real, immediate existential threat to entire groups of people, simply because they exist.
Example 2 of why Trump is in power, and how you guys still don't get it.
Point proven lol
Agreed, but people need to understand that the flu vaccine is one of the least effective ones there are because the flu is constantly changing, and using some predictions on what it might be like this year based on some of last years strains is a shot in the dark.
I get it every year, with as many strains as they'll give me, and it still hasn't prevented me from getting the flu a number of times.
If it leads to more and better movies then honestly that doesn't bother me. With every big evolution of a market there are jobs that become no longer necessary, that's just how the world works. Sucks to be one of the people in those industries/markets, but if they're no longer needed......
The first thing that went through my mind when seeing it was "holy cow, this is going to lead to so many amazing indie movies and shows!".
Conservatives have nothing of value to contribute to discussions.
This is why Trump is in the oval office, and some of you are too full of yourselves to see it.
I say that on the basis of having made serious attempts at engagement with them.
You mean calling them Nazi's and fascists and telling them they should be murdered because they want to stop illegal immigration didn't work?! I am SHOCKED.
And Lemmy is a shitshow of "I'm more progressive and left than you, you fascist!" despite being a far left echo chamber.
Strange, cause https://reddit.com/ looks more like this
and it's essentially devoid of "conservative content".
😆 This reads like they're choosing to drop it because they want to focus on other things, when the reality is that just the other day they lost their appeal to have it blocked (after their original court loss to have it blocked, this was them also losing the appeal) lol.
The FTC’s appeal to block Microsoft’s $69 billion deal to acquire the company behind Call of Duty was denied by San Francisco’s 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals today, further cementing a purchase that was originally announced in late 2022 (via Reuters). It was a move decided by a three-judge panel that brought an end to the FTC’s questioning of the July 2023 decision to allow Microsoft to finalize its purchase.
Lina Khan turned the FTC into an absolute joke, and they're going to have a hard time undoing all the damage she did. They never should have even attempted to block this acquisition. The FTCs entire argument was "yeah sure they'll still be coming last in the market, but they'll have a monopoly somehow" lol. Realistically what they were trying to do was just tie it up in court as long as possible, hoping that the EU would block it. When the EU didn't block it, the FTC went into panic mode because they had no case. They were made to look amateur in court, and they were lambasted by the judges for the waste of time and lack of reasons for the court case.
The FTC hoped that the EU would block the deal, and then the FTC would look like they won as well. Instead they were made to look stupid in court.
