People wouldn’t see patterns if you painted racing stripes on their shit. Yeah, some people are smart enough, but the vast majority, not.

Clicks = money = supersede any desire to remove content because of fact checking. Lies yield money as green as the money truth yields.

It’s already over. Our entire society is gonna collapse in the next couple of decades because of AI and climate change. So… I dunno, brace yourself.

Humanity has no self-restraint. If they can, they do. For money. For power. For advantage. For lust. Anything and everything.

Sorry to be such a downer, but the show’s already over. If you think otherwise, tell me please who and how is going to prevent lies, misinformation and deceit on a mass scale from ripping society apart? I hate to be right in this case, but I am. :-(

I haven’t used Brave for many years because I knew about all their shady shit years ago. Everyone knew if they bothered to just read about it.

I’m absolutely loving “What We Do In The Shadows”

Older shows I still rewatch include Community and Psych. Both are absolutely extraordinary.

I have also fallen out of fandom for SW. I love the original trilogy and I really loved Rebels, but they’re squeezing the franchise to death milking every penny out of it they can. And, in doing so, they’re diluting and de-flavoring something that was once special and awesome, into just another consumerized product.

It’s started to happen to Marvel, too, with all the special interest pandering - not to diminish those special interests because they’re important, but do it in a way that’s not at the expense of quality, and storytelling.

So much of pop culture is being harvested like fucking corn, just squeeze every ounce of value out of it and leave a rotting husk in its wake. They don’t care; they got theirs.

Yeah seriously there’s literally nothing to defend them about anything. Even doing so with something technically accurate is just plain blind.
