Why does my iPhone give a privacy warning on my wifi's 5G band only?
I have two SSIDs on my home wifi, one for the 2.4GHz band and one for the 5G band. I noticed that my phone is giving me a Privacy Warning ("This network is blocking encrypted DNS traffic"), but only when connected to the 5G network. I use Mullvad's DoH profile on my phone and my router also points to Mullvad as the DNS provider. As far as I can tell, both networks are configured the same, except for the 2.5GHz network having an extra 20/40 MHz Coexistence setting (that is enabled). And even then, I don't understand how my network is blocking encrypted DNS traffic, let alone only on one band. Anyone have an idea what's going on?
EDIT: Never mind, I rebooted my phone and it went away. We had an ISP outage and my phone just connected to my network after it was restored, so I guess there was some random bug.
How do I get rid of my dead name in iPadOS settings?
cross-posted from: https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/23235714
I have set my new name everywhere I can in the AppleID settings but the old name is still showing up in this place, and maybe in other places which I haven't seen yet. But how can I get my chosen name to show up here?
(for clarity, this is the profile picture selection on iPadOS)
Solution: The solution for me was that I had to change my name in the contacts.

After migrating my custom domain to icloud+: Some Questions
I migrated my custom domain to icloud+. Seems to work but there are three problems/questions:
- Where are all my emails? I used IMAP so i thought that all the inboxes (of the 3 accounts) will besynchronized after the "redirection" to icloud+
- I imported three e-mails: Does icloud not seperate those three accounts? There is only one folder in Mail (on ipad and iphone)?
- How can i configure the icloud-account(s) in thunderbird?
Thanks for help
SOLUTIONS:
- To get your old mails in your new icloud-account, you can use the mail-app or thunderbird (i guess outlook too) and draw the mails in the new folders. I just draw the inboxes to the new icloud-account-folders and the other stuff to local folders. Good possibility to minimize. Have to see if it works.
- Workaround: Create folders and rules in icloud+, so that the mails will be sorted.
- You have to create an app-password that works in thunderbird or other 3rd party apps.
