Indeed. Mozilla is just another ad company now.
Mozilla as you knew it is dead. Firefox carcass will remain, and various forks are keeping it alive, but if someone still wants to have an alternative to Google's Chromium/Blink it needs a new entity to take over.
I'm watching ladybird with interest. But it's going to be sometime before it's ready. Current versions break quite easily. But it's good to see something else being developed at least
Maybe they can catch the interest of ex-firefox developers, their expertise and should help a lot.
It at least would be a definite Fresh Start.
I thought it was just my imagination that it’s been getting worse and worse in both implementation and ecosystem.
