Yup, switched to le chat too. Not only is it French, but it also figures out when to use deep think by itself and is a lot faster than it’s competitors.
Wether it’s an IQ point smarter or dumber is irreleveant, since every model gets smarter all the time.

That may be the weirdest bit of phrasing I've seen in a headline in a long while. I thought the link was missing a word, but... nope.
I've been using duck. ai it has mistral and a few others not bad for free.

I cancelled my ChatGPT subscription already and have been trying to make the switch to Le Chat but in some areas— it’s just not there yet. I’m blown away by how fast it is, but one of my main uses is Finnish translation, it’s not so good at it, and also transferring context from chat to chat, the “memories” feature of ChatGPT is a big downer.
If you need translations, use deepL instead.
I have already deleted Google Translate in favor of DeepL, but at least in Finnish, DeepL, Google Translate or Le Chat’s translations are nothing compared to ChatGPT’s.
