They live among us
I recently found my Radiohead Kid A stickers that have been waiting for the perfect placement since 2001.
I used to be like this but then started pre-deciding items that would be just plastered with stickers so I can just buy whatever cool stickers I want, knowing there's a place for them.
My water bottle and laptop for example are now covered in stickers
I fairly recently learned that they sell covers that go over laptops so you can move between employers and bring your sticker collection with you (and bonus, not annoy your IT department as much).
Did the same thing with my PC tower. Got about half of the side covered
Just Stitch on mine. My son placed it and laughed saying, "You're about that Stitch life."
Permanently Deleted
I just realized I don't have tattoos for the same reason I don't stick stickers.
The secret is to just have a sticker area and then cover it in shit
That’s why the one wall in my little office nook is covered in anime characters and such
cover it in shit
well then the stickers won't stick...
Meanwhile, my toddler will immediately place a sticker on literally the first thing they see. 🫠
"wow that's a cool looking sticker. But I dont know where I would put it, guess I won't buy it"
Blasphemy
Perhaps the real right place for the sticker was the drawer all along?
The friends we made along the way.
Put them in that guy’s junk drawer from the post the other day
I have a junk drawer for all the internet's stickers. Send them to me.
I always knew I wasn't like the others
Unless it's a sticker for a skateboard brand or punk band, in which case, straight on the nearest street sign.
You can do that for trump stickers too. For example you can slap "trump//what's his name" on STOP signs and other unpopular signs. Maybe a fully cover some speed limit signs.
When I come across a sticker I really like, like a band at a show or something, I usually buy 2 so I can stick one somewhere without much thought and put the other in a drawer for these reasons
The trick is to cut out the sticker (with the film underneath) and use paste gum to just place it where you want it. You can then remove it and stick it somewhere else whenever you want.
I had a big collection until I got a large toolbox in my garage. They're all stuck on it now and when I get new ones they instantly go there also.
This is so relatable, I've carried my bag of stickers while moving houses three times by now.
Uh oh! I have a few hundred brewery stickers that I've put up. Some are even duplicates between my home glass display and my work locker.
Am I a double psychopath?
no i think double-normie
Hmmm, they cancel?
Either a coffee mug or laptop is the answer
Won't be able to put it in the dishwasher then most likely
Idk I wash my laptop in the dishwasher all the time
A lot of travel ones aren't really intended for anything but hand washing.
I have never been able to put a sticker on a laptop case. Just something about it feels wrong to me. I can't explain it.
Make your collection communal at work. It's better than a candy bowl and just as much fun.
I love that my kids actually do not do that and stick stuff anywhere they can. With age they understand some surfaces are off limits so as to not damage them, but my windows and light switches never stood a chance...
I have stickers from 1999 waiting to be stuck on something appropriate

One of my go to pieces of life advice for people is to just put stickers on things
All well and good as long as it's something they own themselves. I've rather grown to hate all the public anti-vax, racist and far right stickers the idiots share on Telegram and plaster all over public property. Even in the nature reserve I like to walk to relax some dick has put Nazi stickers on every post in sight as well as all over informational signs telling people about the unique wildlife. It makes my blood boil, which is the opposite of relaxing in the forest.
Yep, and similarly, just write/draw/whatever in your cool notebooks. Using them regularly over time is the thing that makes them special. Not some grand effort at perfection.
My fridge is covered in pride stickers. Any time I get something that's gay or has rainbows, it immediately goes on the fridge
I have several dozen stickers in my drawer now. I used to put them on the back of my TV and then my TV died.
I guess, I'm not a psychopath.
I have a sticker I want to make into a Christmas ornament. It's an image of santa on the toilet. It's been in the drawer for, uh, how long have I been married? A while.
Everyone is missing the option where you put them in a box and take it around and trade them
Depends on the time I get it and the kind of sticker.
Is it anything remotely tech related? Goes on a laptop. Else: drawer for an undefined amount of time.
If I go out of my way to buy one, I already know where it's going.
I have almost nothing i put stickers on, so i keep them in a drawer. When i get a new laptop or something appropriate, i pick a few out and stick them on.
Who buys stickers? They come for free. And as someone who has a laptop and sits in cafes all the time I have to look better than everybody else. So they go straight on my laptop.
I just skip the first and last step and am continuously overwhelmed
My niece, the psychopath.

All my brewey stickers from 5 years ago are still looking for a home...
Who the fuck buys a single sticker?
Depends on the type of sticker. They sell big stickers individually in a lot of places and some places have custom-made specialized stickers which they will sell individually.
When I was a kid, there was a kiosk in the mall that had dozens of sticker rolls and you could pull off as many as you liked from any roll you wanted and buy them. That was awesome.
See I’d argue if I buy a single sticker it was with purpose and I know exactly where I am going to put it (car, laptop, mug, whatever…). But if it’s a random sticker given to me I’d agree with OP.
Just buy a pack. They're stickers. They cost nearly nothing to manufacture. Me and my friends upload sticker motives to Eastern European online copyshops all the time and order 100 at a time, then split the bill. It's dirt cheap.
