Instead of being the 51st state, let's become the 28th EU Member. If Canada joins the EU, Canadian representatives to the European Parliament would need to be elected via proportional representation🍁

Canada and the EU are very compatible and classy.

EDIT: And proportional representation rocks.

I would love the freedom of movement but hate the monetary policy.

What I would rather do is recreate the EU but with Canada, the Caribbean and whatever Latin American countries that want it.
