Why are our characters the protagonists everywhere they go?

A confident Konsi? I don't know, that might be too much. Has she ever been smug about anything?
Smug Konsi feels like a bit of a cataclysmic concept.

I had an NPC that was a priest of the goddess of luck, and collected tythe by playing Liars' Dice in taverns. Our barbarian lost like all of his gold to him lol
He didn't survive long, but the party being cursed by the goddess of luck was even more fun
- Never gamble against a Tymoran.

Every time I show up I end up getting myself handed to me by that Dracolich.

The hell is going on inside that head?
- IDK my guy looks pretty empty-headed
