... I wonder abut the human mate - just how much car-shaped were they or perhaps how mechanical were their parts ...

I hope for self-driving cars so that we can have sex in cars, not with cars.
- take your bikes and ride to a nice place where you can have what you please, instead of wishing for uncomfortable sex in a moving box
  
  Well with self-driving cars, we wouldn't have the need for seats to always be seats. They could turn into beds or something like that. Easily enough.
- Why do people want to stay inside cars so much? It's the same weird thing with drive-throughs and eating inside a car.
